Running Stata 17 BE on macOS Monterey 12.1 #17

Hi,

I installed stataRun and Stata Enhanced on my VS Code and am trying to run some basic codes (for example, by pressing CMD + Shift + S), but nothing seems to happen. Am I doing something wrong?

I encountered the same problem. I resolved this by manually editing the package.json file and add a string "StataBE" under stataRun.whichApp and restart VSCode.
Don't know enough to explain why this works though.
