DSO+T example hangs at arbitrary times

In some cases, the DSO+T example hangs due to GridLAB-D silently failing. This only occurs on the PNNL private cloud VMs when using HELICS. Switching over the FNCS solved the problem. These cases are running in a Docker-ized version of TESP and this may be related to this problem we're seeing.
