MySites (/sites) overview with no data after 2.0 to 2.1 Upgrade

Hi,

i upgraded a little instance used at multiple sites from 2.0 to 2.1 and realized, that after logging in the startpage (at /sites) does not show any metrics any more. All the metrics are still there if I enter the detailed view - it is just the startpage missing the values.

There is also no error shown / no element loaded with exception/404 in the network tab.

Please make sure your reverse-proxy allows WebSocket connections.

You can check the browser console log, it probably has some WebSocket connection failing warnings.

I was looking for errors in the network tab, but it's not really shown as error, despite it does not work:

I'm experiencing the exact same issue, including the console errors related to the websocket, but I'm not sure how to resolve it. If anyone has any suggestions or solutions, I would really appreciate your help. Thank you!

You seem to be using nginx. So you'd need to add this block to enable WebSockets: https://github.com/plausible/community-edition/blob/e023cf8874871865be88d81b759c62d1032237a6/reverse-proxy/nginx/plausible#L12-L17

Depends on how you installed nginx. Usually the configs are at /etc/nginx, you can use systemctl to check what config is being used for the service.
