Right now we're using an elasticsearch startup-script which fires each startup/provision. This causes a new node to be spawned and sharing shards across local nodes. When rebooting vagrant box you need n = k original number nodes to be able to retrieve your whole original data set set as elasticsearch has automagic scaling when a new node appears on the subscribe net. This will leave some (source: me) confused as to why only some board appear in the search.
