Question about sampling mechanism.

I have a question about the sampling mechanism in Pinpoint.
When I configure sampling in the Pinpoint agent, requests are collected according to the specified rate.
If sampling is set to 5%, does this mean that only 5% of error cases are collected as well? Or are all errors collected regardless of the sampling setting?
If it can be configured with an option, which value should be changed?

5% means: Sample 5% of all requests.
