This feature would allow us to access pieces that is running on our own local machine from a cloud server.

With this in mind a user could utilize their pieces drive to execute user data scripts or other infra tasks all from their pieces drive.

I know a lot of infra bros say they just copy paste the same cicd over and over again so it could help them potentially.
