cannot type :n in less with neo2 ssh layout #5

First, im not sure this is the right place to report. I use mainly the neo2 simple layout, but for hacking with termux, i use the neo2 ssh version. The problem with the latter is entering :n or any other letter does not work when running the programm less inside the shell.

First i switch to the special character page, tap on :, switch back and try to press n, but when i switch back to the letter page, it's again like as if i didn't type : at all.(less shows a white background in the stutaus line, when the command mode is enabled. : starts the command mode)

The problem does not appear when i try it with the neo2 simple layout. And i can work around it by swiping up to get the 2 extra lines with digits and some special characters like : and then type n.

I hope you understand my description.
