I don't know if my current avatar is fetched from GitHub or Gravatar, but it would be useful if I can upload a personal image, because my avatar (as you can see here on GitHub) is not really enough the represent me.

IMHO it would be easier to use gravatar unless we don't mind storing the images. Maybe allow users to specify a gravatar email else use github?
