For connecting people looking to build an app with PhoneGap developers. A few options:

  1. Resurrect the old Developer Directory and dedicate some resources to approving developers, etc. I liked the image from the old dev directory of PG developers worldwide:

1. Create a job board and form for organizations to submit job postings. This could be paid or free.

A big draw for PhoneGap is the amazing community of developers. Our vision is to take you "from idea to app store" and part of that, aside from tools/docs/services, is talent.

I like the old developer directory, but I don't think we have resolved the email issues (no one can contact the devs by the email form). So unless that is resolved (I don't think it has), it's a poor solution.

People email me about finding PhoneGap Devs (but when the dev site was up, I refrained because it wasn't working) but right now I just push them to:

  1. slack.cordova.io #jobs channel
  2. post a job in the PhoneGap Google Groups

#jobs channel and support forums are good routes. I'd still like to host this resource on the PG site... driving site traffic and such.
