Definitely is, but i was stuck trying to get phpunit libraries packaged with CI.. I've switched to using a system install and it was working, just need to make your test suites look in the modules/module_x/tests folder.. ive been playing with some other php5 frameworks.. like Yii and Fuel, and this is how they approach it (and it works)..

I have just been slammed lately and havnt had time to come back to this project.. plus waiting to see what the release schedule is like for CI3 (updates at CICon) and if this is project is even needed.
