There are no ages in the pacfin bio pull. @melissamonk-NOAA I thought CDFW had commercial ages. I can think of a number of reasons for why: a) there are no commecial ages, b) the ages we do have are not to the same standard as typical age data within PacFIN, and so wont be added, c) the ages haven't yet been added to pacfin (our pull was back in July). Any sense which is accurate?

Talked with Brenda Erwin and there are some ages that will be entered. Ages listed as commercial in Jim's spreadsheet may not necessarily be sampled randomly, in which case these would not be entered.

This issue also holds true for weights in PacFIN. Depending on where we get the WL curve, this could have an impact. Data from the 2021 cycle also did not have weight so perhaps CA doesn't collect weight?
