Hello everyone, The migration of Pegasus’ issue-tracking from Jira to GitHub has finished. The Pegasus Jira project has been archived. Moving forward, all issue-related activity will take place on GitHub. You can now re-enable notifications by visiting https://github.com/pegasus-isi/pegasus, clicking the Stop ignoring or the Watch button, and selecting All Activity or Participating and @mentions. |

Hello everyone,
Greetings from the Pegasus Workflow Management System team. We hope you are well.
We are writing to announce that we will migrate our project management and issue-tracking system from Jira to GitHub. This transition aims to streamline our workflow, provide a more integrated development environment, improve project visibility, and reduce overheads associated with the maintenance of Jira.
During the migration, GitHub will generate notifications sent to issue assignees, comment authors, etc. Since you have subscribed to the Pegasus repository, created, been assigned, commented on, or been mentioned in Jira issues, expect to receive some notifications.
Action Needed
Before Friday, December 13, 2024, consider disabling notifications by visiting https://github.com/pegasus-isi/pegasus, clicking the Unwatch button, and selecting Ignore.
We will notify you (if we have your email address) when the migration is completed. After the migration, you can reenable notifications by visiting https://github.com/pegasus-isi/pegasus, clicking the Stop ignoring button, and selecting All Activity or Participating and @mentions.
Migration Details
Migration Date: Friday, December 13, 2024, at 3 PM PT and will take the entire weekend.
Old System: Jira
New System: GitHub Issues
What to Expect
Data Transfer: All existing Jira issues, comments, and attachments will be migrated to GitHub. We will ensure that there are no duplicates and that historical data is preserved.
Accessing GitHub: After the migration, you can access all issues directly in GitHub. The same GitHub user will create all issues, as we can’t take actions on your behalf on GitHub. You can search for your issues by adding a mentions:@username filter.
We appreciate your cooperation during this transition period. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out.
