The current link to download SnpEff points to the latest release (https://snpeff.blob.core.windows.net/versions/snpEff_latest_core.zip)
However, this is not allowing reproducibility when we try to replicate a system for VCF annotation, or create a Dockerfile with specific version/configuration
Is it possible to expose links that include the version of the tool in the URL and retain them for future reference?
I can see that older versions of SnpEFF are available through sourceforge, but not the most recent ones, and we would like to avoid going through the process of compiling from source code
Thanks in advance for your help
