Seems I found the solution here https://github.com/pay-rails/pay/blob/main/lib/pay/paddle_billing/subscription.rb. Have to use change_quantity method |

Hi,
I'm creating a SaaS application (API in RoR, Frontend: React). I'm using Pay (Paddle) in my api code. I'm using PaddleJS in my frontend code for checkout.
My application schema has the following structure: Sign up is done with an organisation account. Each organisation has multiple users (multiple users can have role "owner" to manage subscription/billing). I'm attaching Pay to the organisation model to manage subscriptions at organisational level.
I've a scenario where I want to give per seat subscription. I'm struggling to understand how to make subscription updates work using Pay gem. I've created a product "Basic $x/month per user" in Paddle and I'm able to subscribe to it (Quantity 1) for the first time. But as more users are added to the system, I need to bill them against the organisation subscription (need to update quantity I believe).
As per https://github.com/pay-rails/pay/blob/main/docs/6_subscriptions.md, it says that "Paddle does not allow you to create a subscription through the API". And we've to rely on Webhooks to sync the changes. My initial thought was to explore for a update subscription method.
Kindly guide how to achieve this using Pay Gem
