@paulo-coutinho, I must say, this is amazing job you've done here. Btw, there's a similar attempt for Windows:
https://github.com/bblanchon/pdfium-binaries

I'm interested in using PDFium as the rendering/PDF processing engine for iOS, Android and Windows and I've been following PDFium project for couple of years now to see where it is heading.

Hi,

I know, linux and windows are already supported by other projects, because this i don't put this here. It is only because the focus, since the patchs are for mobile, mac and wasm.

But it is on roadmap, only need create more two files (linux.py and windows.py) and build it, since it don't need patch (i think).

The other problem is supporting, because community don't contrib too much on sponsor button to help project grow, so we need dedicate a time from our day with any incentive, but we do by love even though.

Thanks anyway.

This project is awesome! It would be really nice if you would support linux/windows as well such that all major platforms use the same compiled headers.

Also: https://github.com/bblanchon/pdfium-binaries uses some kind of scheduled magic to release new versions... what do you think about this?

We're currently creating a flutter plugin for all major platforms (win, linux, mac, ios, android) and we use this and the other project to supply the library.

It would be very nice to have an updated build for win/linux or a hint on how we would be able to build the platforms from source such that the flutter app can build the pdfium lib.

Hi,

I will add support, but automatically to me is a problem, because all other patchs need manually see the lines and add the patch.

I will add support, but every new version need be explicit tested and commited.

It will let it more secure too.

Feel free to donate too :)

Thanks.
