First off, thanks for taking the time to contribute to Gello! 🐶 👍
The following is a set of guidelines for contributing to Gello, which is hosted in the Datadog Organization on GitHub. These are mostly guidelines, not rules. Use your best judgment, and feel free to propose changes to this document in a pull request.
This section guides you through submitting a bug report for Gello.
Note: If you find a Closed issue that seems like it is the same thing that you're experiencing, open a new issue and include a link to the original issue in the body of your new one.
- Perform a search to see if the problem has already been reported. If the issue has been reported, and the issue is still open, add a comment to the existing issue instead of opening a new one.
Bugs are tracked as GitHub issues. Create an issue on the Gello repository and provide the following information by filling in the issue template.
- Fill in the required template
- Follow the Python styleguide
- End all files with a newline
All Python code must adhere to PEP8 Standard Style.
- All files, classes, and functions should have a docstring, following [Google's Docstring conventions](http://sphinxcontrib-napoleon.readthedocs.io/en/latest/example_google.html.
