I've been participating heavily in the Hurricane Helene mapping task as a first-time user, but unfortunately a troll has been repeatedly rejecting my contributions without any comment or reason and there's no way to report him. I put a comment asking him to at least give a comment as to why he's rejecting my submissions but this morning I woke up and saw he had again bulk rejected my mapping without any comment.

Situations like this cause new users like myself to become disgusted with platforms like OSM and move on, and I have no recourse to report the user or his actions on the platform.

Update: Turns out he was putting comments but the platform was not correctly surfacing them to me. Previous rejections notified me of the comment, but his rejections did not. Regardless, it's important to have a way to report/escalate abuse.

Hi @kevinvangelder, can you be more specific about what task you're working on and where the correspondence is taking place?

We got the particular issue sorted out, after much frustration on my end from not fully understanding the interface yet as a new user. That said, a reporting functionality would still be very useful and likely would have resolved this situation sooner and with much less frustration.
