Would be great to write a script for simple diagnostics of office router and the load placed on it, for all those times when we yell "Is anyone else's internet slow?" or "Tiiiiiiiiiiim!"

Pat and I talked briefly about the idea of possibly enabling and using the SNMP capabilities of our router but I have another possible idea that relates to our asset tracking. I'll be installing an asset tracking agent on our computers to eliminate my spreadsheet and it can likely tell us if a person is currently connected and their IP. If their IP is on one of our internal networks, we'll know they are at the office physically. If the IP either isn't present or doesn't match our internal network patterns, we can assume they are offline or online at an alternative location like home. We might be able to build a script on top of this that we could use to poll if anyone is in the office or not.

Nice! Thanks Tim. But I think you meant to post this in #41? I'll cross-post.
