Way to tell where in a transaction it went bad

For example, if I have multiple checks, I can either racily run the checks in separate transactions and test each transaction, or I can run all the checks and guess/start investigating why the transaction failed. That, or I can just not care. If there were a way to just know which of the vector of actions failed, that would be excellent.

I've since worked around not being able to do this, but if the ability existed to know, that could be very cool.

I'm afraid we don't keep this information in the indices. If you have the transaction operations in hand, my recommendation would be to take a snapshot just before the transaction ran and replay the checks. with-tx might be useful here, too.
