Query builder?

Totally get you, @maltalef101! So, while diving into surrealdb, I really missed an ORM or a handy query builder. The SDK doesn't quite throw in enough methods for crafting those dynamic queries. So, we end up leaning on .query() as the trusty fallback. |

Greetings.
I've been using SurrealDB and its Rust library for a work project of mine, and I've found myself writing dynamic select queries that are modified depending on the existence of input parameters, in a somewhat manual way (string appending with the necessary whitespaces, trimming, etc.). Having done that, I began wondering if a query builder in the style of
sqlx
exists (I'm yet to find one in the web documentation or rust docs), or if it could be a useful feature for, well, building queries. From what I could tell, theselect
method in the Rust API is only capable of selecting all of the records in a table, some of them (by specifying a range), and just one via a record ID. Again, if such thing as a query builder already exists in the Rust API, I obviously may not be aware of it, so I apologize if this post wasn't needed. Thanks for reading. All polite answers are greatly welcomed.
