paketo maven: unable to determine user home directory

The following job https://github.com/redhat-buildpacks/testing/actions/runs/5806268092/job/15738815513?pr=26 fails as paketo maven 6.15.5 is unable to determine user home directory. How can we fix that ?

Are you using a Paketo stack?

FYI, The buildpack is using https://pkg.go.dev/os/user#Current to locate the user's home directory.

I'm not seeing it. I tried to pick out the build command from your CI job, it looks like this. Let me know if I missed something.

pb apps/quarkus -e BP_NATIVE_IMAGE=false -e BP_MAVEN_BUILT_ARTIFACT='target/quarkus-app/lib/ target/quarkus-app/*.jar target/quarkus-app/app/ target/quarkus-app/quarkus/' -e BP_MAVEN_BUILD_ARGUMENTS='package -DskipTests=true -Dmaven.javadoc.skip=true -Dquarkus.package.type=fast-jar' -B paketobuildpacks/builder-jammy-tiny:latest

This is using the samples quarkus app, but not compiled as a native image. It builds and runs OK.

Let me know how I can repro this with pack, and I can take a closer look.

Problem is fixed. There was an issue as we were using as UID = 1000 while now it is needed to use with jammy builder 1001 on kubernetes
