compile esp-thread-br, Too many open files

situation:

On the shell script..

changes on the sdkconfig:

ESP Thread Border Router Example --->
[*] Enable the automatic start mode in Thread Border Router.
[*] Enable the web server in Thread Border Router.

Desperate here! already tried to do it by hand one command after other, changed the ulimit on the linux container, and always the same error "too many open files" when finishing the S3 part, any help is welcome :)

same situation with (rootless)

podman run --ulimit nofile=4096:4096 --rm -v $PWD/project:/project -w /project espressif/idf:latest ./run.sh
from: containers/podman#5526

with the command:

cat /proc/self/limits | grep files

running:

podman run --rm -v $PWD/project:/project -w /project espressif/idf:latest ./run.sh

I got :

Max open files 524288 524288 files

running:

docker run --ulimit nofile=65536:65536 --rm -v $PWD/project:/project -w /project espressif/idf:latest ./run.sh

I got:

Max open files 65536 65536 files

so I dont think the problem was in the container! Any clues?

another unsuccessful test:
I didnt inform, using podman on macosx here!

podman machine ssh

add those 2 lines to limits.conf (tab separated)

sudo vi /etc/security/limits.conf
* soft nofile 65535
* hard nofile 65535

podman machine stop
podman machine start

finally,
appears that you cant use the rootless approach, the problem is not openthread related!
doing:

podman machine set --rootful

do the trick.
this thread could be here for reference or erased as its not related to openthread (your choice).
next step is to configure esp32-c6's with simple tasks like button and led via thread network (any suggestions/code sample)?
