It looks like the issue is not something already "obviously" known, as I would have got a straight answer on my dumb setup. I close this discussion, and propose it again, with some more specific tests. |

I think it is me doing something wrong, as it is systematic across devices and firmwares.
Ok, my stats are a bit poor, but I have this behaviour with t-echo, t-watch, t-deck.
The firmware are a couple of the latest including alpha.
ISSUE:
One node sends a message, all the other nodes receive 3 messages in a row, a copy.
[Only on Channels, not direct]
Some description
I set a SECONDARY channel with PSK "WQ==", just wanted to have something easy to share especially for tests.
I also have an additional SECONDARY channel with a 256 level for a PSK.
No matter what I do, if I send to the channels, I always receive exactly 3 messages on the other nodes.
I did try also to have exactly 2 devices on, with respect to the 3 I am testing. No changes.
Of course for the most testing the devices are close to each other, but I experienced the same once
with a 80mt away device.
It has to be me totally dumb that I did not understand the configuration.
Which I mostly left unchanged except for the EU_868 and the channels configs.
ahh .. of course I tested with CLIENT and CLIENT_MUTE.
Any idea, or simply, ah ah :)
Thanks
Best
A+
