I just accidentally destroyed an ISO image file because I drag-and-dropped some other file onto it, in Nemo. I meant to drop it next to the ISO file, and not on top of it. The action effectively removes everything inside the ISO and replaces it with only the new file.
(It wouldn't be so bad if it had been dropped on a ZIP file, because it will just add the new file to the ZIP archive without destroying any data.)
There should be an "Are you sure?" request for ISO images, in the same way that occurs when you try to delete a file in Nemo.
