I am fairly certain this used to be the default and honestly find it easier to manage.
I use 5 to 6 drives rather frequently
Each of these drives have between 8 and 10 partitions.
Some drives have partitions with the same names.
Trying to figure out / remember which partition I wanted to update with data from which other partition can be problematic so...
An option to right click in the sidebar and select [Sort Partitions by Device], or something similar, could provide instant clarity.
I have had a look in /usr/share/nemo hoping there was perhaps a way of adding this but I can not see anything.
Does anyone know of a way to achieve this?
Is there a like of code I could add?
I found this discussion but they were asking for alphabetical order but I agree a certain amount of user control in how the devices are displayed would be preferable.
