Hello all,
First of all a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has played a role since the beginning in the eGeoffrey project, starting from my friend Raul to all the users who tried it, provide suggestions and shared their experiences and their projects.
In order for a home automation solution to be in good shape and healthy, time, dedication and a flourish supporting community are required to ensure new devices and new protocols are supported promptly and bugs fixed straight away and unfortunately this is not something we can guarantee for the time being.
It has already been more than a year without introducing any significant addition to the eGeoffrey code base and given the lack of traction the project got, I'm afraid to announce that I will put on hold indefinitely any further development.
However, the code, the documentation and all the artifacts will be still available in the usual places (the modular and container-based architecture should guarantee everything to be fully functional even over the time), even if with the time the websites will be moved from the egeoffrey.com domain to Github, under https://egeoffrey.github.io
Thanks again for your participation, it has been a lot of fun!
