Hello eGeoffrey users,

The egeoffrey-cli utility has been updated to v1.1. This new version does not introduce specific enhancements or bug fixes but brings in two significant changes:

• The code has been refactored from python2 to python3. This is because on newest operating systems like Raspberry Pi OS, the python2 runtime environment is no longer available making users unable to install eGeoffrey
• The command line layout has been re-written, making the syntax simpler and more intuitive

What does this mean for you:

• If you are installing a brand new eGeoffrey instance, nothing changes since the installation script takes care of installing the right dependencies and running the utility with right commands
• If you are upgrading from v1.0 to v1.1, ensure python3 is installed (if not run sudo apt-get install python3) as well as the python3 pyyml and requests libraries (if not run pip3 install pyyaml requests)

When running egeoffrey-cli v1.1 (e.g. after upgrading or for new installs), ensure you familiarize with the new command line structure which is reported below:
