What is the use of setting : House setup -> Web interface -> Default page?

What ever I insert seems to have no effect.

Your advice please.

Default page is the which opens when user logins for the first time. If you customize the value, try in incognito mode, it may be your user remembers the last page opened and then the setting has no effect. Let me know

Just put the name of the page in the mentioned field, save.
Start your browser, CLEAR HISTORY. Now it works.
Guest gets the page presented which is set-up.
