AsyncAPI Executive Director - What does it even mean?

Hey folks,

Few months ago I was appointed by AsyncAPI community to become an Executive Director of the initiative. I'm super grateful for that.

But what it really means? What is this role about? What are my plans?
I want to kick of a discussion that I should actually go away and we should have no directors in future. We just need to figure what is the timeline and what will be after.
