I think it makes sense, it's something simple that can bring benefits. Regarding the delivery, if finally it's decided to be in a physical way, I agree with Lukasz, and maybe the most efficient way would be together with the swag (I can ask the swag company if this is possible). Anyway, I think it would be interesting to offer them also virtually. |

I totally agree! having an AsyncAPI branded certificate for mentees not only gives them a sense of accomplishment but also brings value to the community when it comes to brand identity. We can create e-certificates that are downloadable and shareable on social media. Credly is one example that offers these kinds of services where they assign badges and certificates altogether. Not sure which platform Linux Foundation uses but we can replicate their process😉 |

A few folks that participated in the last mentorship program contacted me privately, asking if they could get a certificate for completing the program. So I decided to share with y'all. Should we give out certificates? If yes, how do you suggest we go about it?
Yes, I know the certificate will benefit the mentees, but I would also appreciate your thoughts. Here's a recording of the last community meeting where I brought it up https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKYyL_DiLds&t=60s
