Contribute RabbitMQ template for dotnet

Hi 👋

I have started developing a generator template for dotnet and RabbitMQ. This template enables the generation of standalone dotnet worker service from an input AsyncAPI document and compliments the existing dotnet worker service template. Following guidance from Lukasz, I’ve opened this discussion item to engage with the wider community and work towards making this available in the appropriate template repo e.g., asyncapi/dotnet-rabbitmq-template

• if you intend to also maintain the template long term?
• are you an individual contributor or do you get some support from your company to work on the template?
• do you have any plans to onboard more codeowners? Projects maintained by just one person are very fragile long term

Answer: Yes, that my intention but I probably need some help

Answer: I have backup from a prominent swedish mining company, LKAB

do you have any plans to onboard more codeowners? Projects maintained by just one person are very fragile long term
Answer: The goal is that I won´t be the only one so Yes, I will try to involve other codeowners, first off would maybe be to involve other resources at LKAB

Sounds great to me! I will definitely talk to you separately on a possibility to get a full use case description from you on how you use AsyncAPI at LKAB, but don't worry for now 😉

Let us give few more days for others to jump in with their questions and then just ping me, I don't know maybe on Wednesday and I will ask TSC to share their opinion.

You can definitely count on me if it comes to support you with enabling our CI automation in the project once it is accepted and moved under AsyncAPI wings.

In the meantime, you might want to have a look at the Open Governance Model that we have here at AsyncAPI.
Not sure if you are aware, but once your donation is accepted and you become a code owner of one of AsyncAPI projects, this way you have the right to join our TSC group.

@mr-nuno hey, I think it is clear there are no objections, so we can proceed with the move. Is there something you want to do in the repo before the move. Are you aware of a type of automation we have in our org, do you want to opt-out from it or be part of it? will you assign additional CODEWONER of the project with you from day one?
