EVM Server process doesn't start

Hello everybody,

I'm new in this community, I'm Gianluca and I'm from Italy, nice to "meet" you all.

I've deployed ManageIQ Oparin on our vCenter infrastructure, as a VM, and configured everything (network, local DB, etc).
Everything seems initialized and running, on the localhost:9090 i don't see any error/warning.

Unlucky, i'm unable to start the EVM Server process from the appliance_console.
When I try to, appears this error message (check the attached image)

I didn't do any change to compromise the service
Any suggest? Many thanks for the attention!

This is strange - do you have any other logs? cc @jrafanie have you seen this before?

No, I haven't. @SirAlucard91 can you share logs? Is it possible it's running and we didn't detect that?

@SirAlucard91 on appliances, you can run vmdb command to cd to /var/www/miq/vmdb. I can't remember if we moved to journalctl in oparin... I think so, so you'd want to do something like:

journalctl

Look back to when the error occurred, or recreate it after running:

journalctl -f

You can also look at the log directory /var/www/miq/vmdb/log and see if there's an appliance_console.log. There might be information relevant to the problem you're seeing.

If you have evm.log in the log directory, there might be a relevant error you can find.

Please provide the errors you find and some context before and after the error. Thanks!

Hello, many thanks for the answers, I've resolved doing a clean install of a new appliance, now it's working :)
