Reporting software emissions to customers

Hi everyone, I would like to ask you for opinion or to share your experience in the area of reporting carbon emissions for software.

I work for a software company that offers various software solutions to different customers.
We see the trend of customers asking what are the CO2 emissions attributable to the services we provide to them.

Our company measures its carbon emissions according to the GHG Protocol, Scope 1, 2 and 3.

My question would be if and how the overall software company Scope 3 emissions should be allocated also in the report that is given to a customer?

Or if you think that a particular software solution should measure its own emissions in a more narrow context, maybe have a LCA on its own?
