Hello Everyone, what i want to ask is that, where should we ask project mentor to assign us Lables like GSSoC24 or level1,2,3 in Issue or merged PR?

You can comment on that specific issue which you want to be labelled.

Hi there @yasharth-0910 👋🏻

You need to ask to add labels for both ISSUES and PRs. The labels added for ISSUES are not counted by the GSSOC's Backend, Only the labels added on PRs are counted.

Adding labels for both ISSUES and PRs will help to easily track the contribution, so that they're assigning labels along with ISSUES.

If any merged PR without gssoc and required level labels like level1, level2, level3 will not be taken into your Contribution count.

So make sure to notify the Project Admin / Project Mentor if they forget to add labels for your Merged PRs.
