Bootstrap 4 / FontAwesome 5 Support #15
Comments
Well, this jstree was originally built as a part of UI admin theme that we're using for our https://photoncms.com/ CMS. Now, we're planning to upgrade CMS UI theme to B4 and FA5, and most likely we'll update jstree theme, too. I can't make any promises on when that's going to happen, though. Probably autumn 2018. |
Good to hear - my experience with FA5 so far has been... interesting since while they do offer the webfont route still, the new JS+SVG results in cleaner, sharper icons. However, it makes doing I've got a working jsTree with BS4 and FA5, and the biggest drawback I had was I couldn't use the dotted connector lines anymore because the FA5 icons I was using to replace the expand and collapse node icons shows the arrows through the SVG graphic and I couldn't find a way to make the background color of the containing element a solid color to block out the sprites for the arrows. A small price to pay for UI consistency though! |
Are there any news on this yet? |
Any developments on the Bootstrap 4 upgrade? |
Are there any plans on supporting Bootstrap 4 and FontAwesome 5?
How difficult would it be to take the existing Bootstrap 3 theme and update it for BS4 and FA5?
