Hiya, I was under the assumption that the kernel would be locked via https://openzfs.github.io/openzfs-docs/Getting%20Started/Fedora/index.html, an incorrect assumption on my behalf. The latest kernel update introduced instability as expected. I see the latest supported kernel for zfs 2.2.6 is 6.10. Unfortunately this kernel is no longer in my history and isn't available in the updates repo from fedora. I'm thinking of temporarily uninstalling zfs and waiting for 2.3.0 to release then reinstalling. Is this a safe approach? I'm currently getting some dkms errors when installing, something about the source not being available. I will attach the exact logs later when I have access again. If anyone has any other ideas of how I might rescue this system I'm all ears. For now I've reclined to accepting my zfs pool will have to be down to a newer release that supports newer kernels comes out. |

You can download latest 6.10 for fc40 from Koji: https://koji.fedoraproject.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=2566685 |

There turned out to be an underlying hardware error that was silently causing my system to lock-up. I've done a fresh install with the latest supported kernel and all is fine now.
