Two uses:

dieharderer could use spellcheck on WORDer to make sure WORD is really a word.
!wisdom, !comebacks, etc could PM you when you add one if there are spelling errors to confirm that you meant to spell them wrong

The best part about 2 is that @Bmarluke will say "OF COURSE I DO" every time.
