This will be a page (or set of pages) that will discuss approaches to learning about existing codebases.

Things like:

  • Strategies for exploring the codebase to learn how it works
  • Understanding build requirements and general approaches to getting things running
  • How to look for tests, examples, etc.

After reading, the reader should have some idea how to explore the codebase they just sync'd what they might need to learn from the project to get started contributing to it.
