[BUG] Language validation missing

What is the bug?
I noticed some behavior where I can run SQL queries while lang is 'ppl' and run PPL queries while lang is 'sql' (see images), and I get the results I expect.

How can one reproduce the bug?
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to '...'

3. Scroll down to '....'
4. See error
