The blog plans to cover these topics:

1. OpenSearch core snapshot tar artifact for MacOS arm64 host is now available to public.
2. It would greatly improve developer engagement and help them as now they can develop OpenSearch Plugins and run integTest directly on their M1/M2/M3 macbook without the need to start a linux server/container. Show a small block of commands.
3. You can try this out today, we currently have 1.3.19/2.16.0/3.0.0 version available for this snapshot. It also allows support for OSD local dev as well: [BUG] Open search dashboard setup failing in local using MAC OpenSearch-Dashboards#4799 (comment)
