Right now as an initial exploration we have scripts that pull from either Overpass (Open Street Map data) and Yelp. Both of these sources don't return a ton of data.
The goal would be to either expand the way the scripts search (e.g. a lat/lng grid query on yelp), or find a new source (Jerry had suggested business listing data in San Diego, but I don't know how much of that is annotated with cuisine or Taco data, aside from those with Taco in the title).
Please be cognizant of the licensing terms of the data sources. E.g. yelp requires we refresh every 24 hours, and Google Places API requires we render on a Google Map only (we currently have an Open Street Map visible).
