CRITICAL: "Delete List" deletes the wrong list

"Delete List" should ALWAYS delete the current list. Instead (if there are items in the list.... maybe this is it, or maybe it's just random), it deleted (in my case) the bottom list. Lost a lot! Then, it did it again, and I lost even more :(

If it can't figure out the current list (due to a bug, etc), it should just report an error rather than deleting anything. I'd rather have it not let me delete a list than to lose stuff.

Also: can anyone help me recover my data, or is it gone forever?
