Remove store does not work

When I try to remove a store from the set of stores associated with an item, it still appears when that store is selected, even though that store is no longer ticked.

Also some times no stores are shown ticked for that item.

This problem has existed for years and is still there with a new phone and later Android and newly downloaded app. It does not seem to matter whether or not I put a price in.
