No good way to remove station that never been there

So there's a charging station with named after shopping mall that's no longer there
Operational Status: Planned For Future Date

There's no such station, never was and never will be.

I can edit it on the map and the closest thing to reality would be to change Operational Status
from Planned For Future Date to Removed (Decommissioned) but that's not really true.

Is it proper way to go?

By the way, are there guidelines on what we could consider as "planned for future date"?
i.e. avoid adding charging stations that are "planned" in more than a year?
