Hi Mark, I'm sorry I only just saw your message. I'm not sure why I missed it Yes we would love help with development. TVFY has not had enough love on the software development side since the site was originally launched. Mostly this is because we're tiny and don't get enough in donations to properly fund all the work that really needs to get done across all our projects. If the question marks in file names are a problem on windows would you be willing to make a PR to address that first? It could just be a case of converting those characters before they're turned into filenames. As for other priorities all the recent interest in TVFY has really forced us to prioritise a bunch of work specifically for the upcoming election. We want to make sure that it's useful and accurate. That also means fixing some long standing bugs and some painful corner cases. I'm planning to make a github "project" and populate it with relevant issues. I'll let you when that's done Sorry again I missed your message All the best |

Hello,
First of all, thanks so much for all your work, OpenAustralia and friends! I really appreciate your time and effort on the Hansard parser, PlanningAlerts, They Vote For You, Morph, and Right To Know.
I had a go at a few issues back in 2017.
I'd like to have another go at helping out.
I tried to run the development environment, but it was rather a struggle on Windows.
I've built a Vagrant environment that seems to work pretty well.
The main problem is that there are some files that can't be
git clone
d on Windows, due to question marks (?
) in the file names. I deleted those files in a branch just to get going. So, a couple of questions:
Cheers,
Mark
