Pipeline __event_emitter__

I wrote a pipeline to evaluate users' prompt quality and I'd like to use a __event_emitter__ to return the score to the user but I got 'NoneType' object is not callable error calling the __event_emitter__. Does anyone know if it's possible to use it on pipelines? In function filter works very well
