Terminal stuck at "Started watching files" don't know how to proceed

Hello there,
I have been using the otlpjsonreceiver as my collector's receiver and after running the config.yaml file i am getting these:

And these messages are coming repeatedly, I am not sure how to proceed as it is not going to the exporter(fileexporter).
PS: I am new to opentelemertry your help would be appreaciated

I'm probably going to say something stupid but is your log file being updated with new values ?
You should see activity when the log file gets new rows.

You can also enable debugging in your yaml file, to have a bit more details.
Insert this to your config file:

exporters:
--logging:
----verbosity: detailed # DEBUG

service:
--telemetry:
----logs:
------level: "debug"
--pipelines:
----logs:
------exporters: [whatever,logging]

Edit: Sorry I'm having troubles with the formatting; I replaced the spaces with dashes to keep the alignment.
