Show existing PV as listed in OSM

I'd like to calculate and show the potential of additional PV generators in our neighborhood. To do so, I've already collected a list if existing roof generators and could enter them into OSM. By now there are 73.000 roof generators in Germany in OSM (generator:method=photovoltaic + location=roof). The application should allow to toggle highlighting or hiding roof that already have PV.

I was never aware, that OSM maps also (private) minor generators and was personally only focused on bigger commercial PV sites esp. on the ground. Also because e.g. www.openinframap.org visualizes them.

Maybe it's worth to write a OSM diary as call for action and suggest it to the OSM weekly notes?

openinframap.org visualizes smaller PV roof generators as well but these are only mapped in some areas. It all depens on the local OSM community. There seems to be some momentum in Britain but the broader OSM community is likely unaware because the generators don't show up in default map view.
