Hey everyone, we had a good discussion in the bi-monthly meeting today about GitOpsCon. We've colocated GitOpsCon very successfully at KubeCon in the past and then with a smaller audience at OpenSourceSummit. We feel like OSSummit is not really large enough to sustain the type of event we'd like to do and haven't signed up to be in the next one.
We're setting aside the August 7th meeting to brainstorm and share ideas about what kind of events we'd like to do in the future to continue the cause of GitOps.
This could include doing virtual events, doing standalone events, doing more meetup/local type events, opening it up to be less focused on K8s, focusing more on k8s etc. We'd love to get everyone's thoughts and ideas. Feel free to contribute here or join the meeting August 7th.
