Download release

Before configuring your Google Chrome,

  1. Download release v0.1

  2. Extract it in a suitable place.

Configure Google Chrome

To install the extension on your Google Chrome, you must perform the following steps:

  1. First go to extensions page

  1. Then click 'developer mode'

  1. Then click 'Load unpacked extension' and select the ext directory in the directory that you just extracted from the downloaded archive.

Right now you should be able to see something like this:

When you visit twitter.com, it should be activated.

It will complain about not storing the annotations, however this is a known bug, no problem.

When you select some text in tweets, it will first show you a button.

When you click that button, you will see 4 text fields. Just ignore the first one saying 'Comments'.

The other three are the ones we implemented.

You can tag as you like there.

When you click save, it will be saved, dont' mind if it complains about annotations not being created.

Now there will be a faint yellow background

You can also see the details

In the next image you see another tag superimposed.

Here I tagged a bird name also.

And finally, I tagged the action below.

Two more images

As you see in the next two images, the annotations may be used to conclude that a columnist published some essay about Nina Simone.
